What is it? A fundraiser dinner to introduce The Jr High and Varsity Belles, Cheerleaders, Football Players, Cross Country, and Robotics Team. And there may be a performance by the DCS Drumline.
When? Tuesday, August 22 at 6pm
Where? Amber Hall
Do Students being introduced have to purchase a ticket? Yes because its a fundraiser.
Do Students have to sell all three tickets? No. If you have leftovers, turn in to Coach Clark.
Can you get more tickets? Possibly. Coach Clark will collect extras and distribute them to students that need more until they run out.
When is the money due? By the end of the Day Monday.

Every Friday is Spirit Shirt Day at DCS! Students may wear a Gators shirt with school bottoms. Soon we will begin our Spirit Shirt fundraiser. In the meantime wear your Blue and orange Gator themed T Shirt! Don't forget about the Football Scrimmage tomorrow at the Swamp. 6pm. Student tickets are $5 and will be on sale tomorrow morning.

On Tuesday, August 22nd, we will hold our Annual Meet the Gators Fundraiser.
We will introduce our Football Teams, Bayou Belles, and Cheerleaders, as well as our Cross Country and Robotics Teams.
Dinner will be served. Tickets are $10 each and are being sold by the Athletes being introduced.
Money needs to be turned in to Coach Clark by Monday, August 21st.
Gator News
Friday, the Varsity Football Gators will participate in a 3 Team Scrimmage with Caldwell Parish and General Trass High Schools.
The scrimmage will begin at 6pm at Brett Raley Field aka The Swamp.
Discipline Reminder:
Students are Not to bring any beverages on campus other than water unless otherwise approved by Mr. Raley. Water bottles or containers must be clear and transparent and only contain Water.
Failure to comply will result in consequences.

The Senior Spectacular will now be held in the Big Gym.
Aug. 15 (1st day for students is right around the corner! Here are a few more discipline reminders:
School bottoms must be the appropriate length and fit. No jeggings or khaki colored denim.
All hair color must be natural.
Students in grades 3-12 must wear belts and shirts must be tucked in unless otherwise is authorized by administration.
No earrings for boys, no nose rings for girls or boys (students are not allowed to cover earrings or nose rings with bandages or anything else).
No caps allowed and hoods are not to be worn in any building including the gym.
No smart watches allowed and phones are powered off at all times during the day.

We will do Senior Portraits for the Yearbook, Senior Banners for Athletics and Robotics, and other important information will be given for the Class of 2024. I hope this message finds you well. Each year, the Athletic Department at the Delhi Charter School attempts to collect money from people and local businesses for Athletic Sponsorship packages. These are opportunities to help fund our programs while giving our supporters a platform to advertise their services (example: football field signs).
There are several ways to advertise your business and/or show your support, with contribution levels as low as $75. Attached you will find the registration form that explains in detail what is included at each level. Payment instructions are at the bottom of the attached form. 🗣Discipline and Attendance Changes for the 2023-24 School Year
Student Drivers being late for school was a big issue last year.
Parents, please make sure you speak with your Students that plan to drive to school.
This year, students will lose their driving priveleges for the semester after being late to school for a third time. Drivers need to leave home in time to check in to first period at 7:30. Please plan accordingly. Allow plenty of time to obey traffic laws, drive safely, and not in a rush. Any questions can be directed to Coach Clark.

We are excited to say that we will be running a school based 5th and 6th grade football team this fall! The team will participate in the LaChosen league that plays on Saturday mornings in Monroe! The team will be coached by Varsity Delhi Charter coaches! It is our goal to begin preparing our athletes for the transition to school ball!
