This past week, the DCS Junior High BETA Club competed at the BETA Regional Summit in Grapevine, Texas. We are pleased to share their accomplishments! They qualified to attend nationals to compete next summer in every division they entered! Way to go BETAs! Bradson Robinson also was selected as a leadership representative (only 2 are selected for each region) and will serve in this capacity through summit next school year!

High school and junior high BETA officers are representing Delhi Charter School with gator pride this week in Grapevine, Texas. Awards for high school will be today and junior high tomorrow. We are very proud of all of our kids that represent our school so well.

Congratulations to the Senior Beta Officers Julia-Kate Pylant, Alaina Lively, Olivia Clark, and Lashayla Jones...as well as Members Abbygail Maynard, Destiny Griffin, Mackenzie Washington, Antony Sanchez, A'kyrah Alexander, Naomi Clark, and Natalie Clark. These students all qualified for the National Beta Competition this summer in Nashville. They recently attended the Texas Senior Beta Leadership Summit where they qualified in All the World is a Stage, Being Better Betas: Ethical Decision Making, Beta Blitz, Project Proposal, and Collaboration Connection. The DCS Beta Club was also recognized as the Outstanding Leadership School. Great job DCS Senior Beta Club and Senior Beta Sponsor Mrs. Valarie Clark!!

Our annual DCS Veteran's Day Program will be scheduled on November 13th, 2025 from 9:15-10:30 in Amber Hall! All DCS students are welcome to bring a special Veteran in their life, and all Veterans in the community are welcome to attend as well!

Every year, FFA members from across the state of Louisiana can choose to write an essay to win their very own FFA Jacket through the Margaret Mayeux Blue Jacket Award. Only 14 FFA members were selected this year, and two of the members selected were from the Delhi Charter FFA Chapter!
We would like to congratulate Ezekiel McKinney and Ryan Miller! These outstanding members have demonstrated dedication, leadership, and a passion for FFA, and we are proud of them for being recognized with this honor!

This was a busy week for the DCS Ag Department and FFA Chapter!
🟡 Several FFA members competed at the State Land Judging Competition on Tuesday!
🔵 Two Louisiana FFA State Officers visited Ms. Sebren's Agriscience classes Wednesday, and they presented workshops on the benefits of joining FFA and developing our Supervised Agricultural Experiences!
🟡 The DCS FFA Chapter Officer team hosted the second FFA meeting for the school year on Thursday!
🔵 Several Chapter Officers and members from the Livestock Show Team attended the PTO Meeting last night, and they educated the public about caring for and showing different breeds of rabbits, as well as exhibited some of their woodworking projects! Curtis Hall was also recognized for his achievement of being selected for the 2025 National FFA Chorus, and he performed a song!

All orders are due to Ms. Sebren by November 3rd, and items can be paid by cash or with a check made out to DCS FFA. All orders will be delivered to the Amber Hall the week before Thanksgiving!
