Weekly Happenings in The Swamp

Junior Tayven Carter came home with 2 1st place finishes in both the Long Jump (21 feet 8.75 inches. 6th best jump in Louisiana this year), and Triple Jump (46 feet 5 inches 2nd best Jump in Louisiana this season). Tayven will compete February 21 at LSU for the LHSAA Indoor Track State championships.

2026 DCS Baseball Schedule

Our DCS Junior BETA and High School Student Council students were excited to participate in the Northeast Louisiana Livestock Show Parade this morning. Their float, “Gators Down on the Farm,” earned 1st place honors. The group was proudly sponsored by Mrs. Myers-Davis and Mrs. Sebren. 🐊🚜

The Johnny's Pizza Pig-Out has been set for Monday Feb 9th from 5-8 PM at the Rayville Johnny's.

Greetings Gator Family, I hope each of you has remained safe and warm this past week. Even amid challenges, I hope you have been able to recognize moments of comfort, support, and gratitude. Many of you are already aware that one of our DCS students recently lost her home to a house fire during this difficult time. Thankfully, the student is safe and currently staying with family members. However, she and her grandparents lost all of their belongings in the fire. Several of you have reached out asking how you can help or make a monetary donation. We truly appreciate your compassion and willingness to support one of our own during this time.
