A Message to our Athletics Sponsors... We are in the process of sending out sponsorship letters as well as making our normal personal visits to solicit financial support for our Athletics Programs. Past, Present, and Future Sponsors, please don't send money to other businesses calling on our behalf. They will call and say they are going to send us shirts or cups or this or that. And they will, after they have taken a big cut for themselves. Make sure you are dealing with Coach Clark or a representative of DCS Athletics, and that your check for sponsorship is made out to and sent to Delhi Charter School. Attached is a picture of our Sponsorship Form. Any questions can be sent to Coach Clark. 318-878-0433 ext 1113 chad.clark@delhicharterschool.org Thanks and Go Gators!

Hopefully, the entire Swamp Family is enjoying the summer break. Here are a few answers to questions that have come up about about new rules. 1. Are we completely outlawing students beinging their cell phones to school? -- No. We understand that sometimes students need their phones after school for various reasons. The DCS policy states that phones must be powered off during the school day. Phones powered on are considered to be "in use" and thats when consequences occur. There is a phone available in the office for any needed student/parent communication. 2. Are mesh backpacks allowed? -- No. Backpacks, Purses, Lunchboxes/Lunchbags, etc. must be clear plastic. 3. Are clear plastic Backpacks, Purses, Lunchboxes/Lunchbags, allowed to have a color tint? -- Yes. As long as the tint allows for clear vision inside they can be color tinted. Please remember, this is for the added safety for your children. This is new to us as well and we will approach any unforeseen issues as they arise. Any questions or concerns can be directed to Coach Clark. 318-878-0433 ext 1113 chad.clark@delhicharterschool.org
