Congratulations to DCS Class of 2014's Zelene Ester! After receiving her Bachelor's degree in Nursing from LSU Health and Science Center in New Orleans, she became a critical care nurse working in various settings on the front lines to save lives during the pandemic, all while continuing her studies. And on August 16, 2025, Zelene graduated from Texas Wesleyan University as a Doctor of Anesthesia Practice. So NOW, you can call her Dr. Zelene Ester!

Marlee Frith, Rayleigh Raney, and Payton Thomas represented Delhi Charter School at the Sedente Animo Civic Club Cotillion this weekend. Sedente Animo means "with settled purpose" and there motto is "pursuits and deeds that are honorable".
In 1962, a Civic Club was organized with the purpose of bringing together the young women of our community, to benefit themselves and the community in order to keep alive interest in fine arts, to advance and assist in Civic improvement, and to cooperate with and promote interest in educatioun and community service. Several local schools were represented that night. We are so proud of the 3 young Gators that represented our school.
Thanks to all that came out to the Innaugural "Built By The Swamp" Youth Football Camp.
Special thanks to Bayou Printworks of Rayville for the T-shirt graphics and Fox's for donating the pizza!
Our Annual "Meet The Gators" Fundraiser Dinner is scheduled for Thursday August 21st at 6pm in Amber Hall. We will introduce our Jr High and Varsity Belles, Cheerleaders, Football Teams, and Cross Country Teams. Each Athlete is allowed 2 Guests. Admission is $10. Dinner will be served.
The Delhi Charter School would like to give a very special Thank You to Maxwell's Hardware. Frank Maxwell IV (DCS Class of 2015) donated Paint for the Gym through their 'Painting A Brighter Future' grant!!

🌟 DCS FFA Officer Team Takes Leadership to the Next Level! 🌟
Our DCS FFA Officer Team recently participated in officer training sessions led by the Louisiana FFA State Officers! These trainings were designed to equip our officers with the skills, tools, and confidence needed to lead and serve throughout the upcoming school year.
From team-building exercises, to goal setting, and effective communication strategies, our officers are now better prepared to represent DCS FFA with pride and purpose!
We are proud of their dedication, and we are excited to see the amazing things they will accomplish this year! 💙💛
