Field day lunch orders can be placed until Wednesday, May 6th. Elementary students should turn in orders to their homeroom teachers. Junior high students should turn in orders to Coach Nielsen and high school to Mrs. Myers-Davis. Please send exact change or a check made out to DCS. The only way to ensure the purchase of a lunch at field day is to pre-order as there will only be a limited amount of extras available the day of the event to prevent excessive waste.

High School students may dress down for EOC testing. Students not testing are not required to come to school on non-testing days. The test schedule will be on the Weekly Happenings in the Swamp that will be posted tonight.

Junior-Senior Prom tickets are on sale!! See Mrs. Fallin, Mrs. Bullock, or Mrs. Clark to purchase. The price is $30 per ticket. Ticket sales will end Friday 04/17/26. Tickets will not be sold past that date due to having to let the caterer know how much food to prepare. If your child plans to bring a date who is not a student at DCS, they must get a form from Mrs. Bullock to be completed and turned back in to her by Friday 04/17/26. Prom will begin at 7 PM and end at 10 PM. We are so excited for this Cosmic Night Among the Stars!

DCS FFA members had a "growing" good time with the 2nd grade classes this week! They learned all about the plant life cycle, and each student was able to plant their very own vegetable that they can take care of and watch grow!🪴From tiny seeds to big dreams, these hands-on lessons are planting knowledge that will last a lifetime!💙💛

DCS FFA members hopped into the classroom this week to share some rabbit knowledge and Easter fun with our Kindergarten and 1st grade classes🐰 From learning about the Easter Bunny to lots of smiles and laughter, it was a sweet week full of springtime joy. We are so proud of these young leaders for making a difference in our school!💙💛
