Ms. Sebren’s Agriscience 2 classes created and entered their own designs about the importance of Forest Preservation and Conservation for the 2024 USDA Conservation Poster Contest. Maddie Wilkins placed 2nd in our district for grades 10-12, and she was awarded $25!
GATOR FOOTBALL PLAYOFF INFORMATION:
The Gators will travel to St. Martin's in Metairie, LA for the first round playoff match up. Game starts at 7pm. Admission is $15 school age and up.
Tickets must be purchased online in advance at Tickets to StM Events or with the attached QR code. No cash or credit cards will be accepted at the gate. The gate on Green Acres Rd. will open at 6pm.
Bathrooms are located at the concession stand.
Please refer to the attached campus map for parking.

Students with 5 or more unexcused absences for the semester and/or 10 for the year will lose privileges as well as run the risk of being retained to repeat their current grade.

DCS robotics is competing today at the Hurricane Fall Classic in Jonesboro, AR. This is their first tournament of the season, so everyone wish them luck!

The DCS Cross Country Team as well as their parents participated in the Annual Grin & Bear It 10K Challenge on Saturday. Treshawn Bohanon won 1st place overall, T.J Bayonne came in 3rd, and Anthony Sanchez came in 5th. Coach Todd Spinks would like to thank everyone that came out to support.

The track team is selling Spirit shirts and hoodies. Orders can be placed today during Parent Teacher Conference in Mr. Duchesne's classroom. This is the first room on the left in Building D. These shirts and hoodies will be on sale until November 8th.
Support Senior Beta
Congratulations to the Senior Beta Officers: Logan Reese, Quinn Mitchell, Julia-Kate Pylant, Olivia Clark, Abbi-Lynn Hoeft and Curtis Hall
for qualifying for national competition this summer in Orlando. They recently attended the Louisiana Senior Beta Leadership Summit where they qualified in Project Proposal, Collaboration Connection, and Lead Outside the Box. They were also awarded Outstanding Leadership School.

Tomorrow is Pink Out Day in the Swamp! Students may wear pink with school bottoms!
Pink Out Pep Rally starts at 2:30.
The Gator Football Team travels to Rayville to take on the Hornets at 7pm.
HOMECOMING TAILGATORS
Homecoming in the Swamp is less than 2 weeks away.
As we have in the past, we will offer tailgating sections for Alumni and Fans to come and fellowship prior to and during the big game.
We will have $20 wristbands available to enter the TailGators area on game day.
There will be 10 sections available on the south end of the endzone and we will provide tables, chairs, and trashcans. You can bring your own tent. Sections are $100 each and first come first serve.
You can access the area (from the South End Gate only) beginning at 3:30 pm. Vehicles must be out of the area by 5:30 pm (you can bring vehicles back to reload once the game is over).
