Greetings 🐊 Family, At last night's Board Meeting, it was approved to cancel school Friday (11/18) in lieu of the Playoff Football Contest in Metairie, LA. There are seats available on the Belles/Cheer Charter Bus as a first come first serve to teachers, parents, and high school students wishing to travel to the game. The price will be $50 per seat and will not include food or game admission. The bus will leave from DCS parking lot at approximately 11am on Friday with a food stop in Kenner, LA. Please contact Coach Clark to check availability and pay for seats. Money is due by the close of business on Wednesday.

Thursday, November 10th is our next Positive Behavior Dress Down Day. Students without a write up between September 19 and October 19 will be allowed to Dress Down. Teachers will inform students as to whether they are allowed to Dress Down prior to Thursday. Students that are not allowed to dress down should be in school uniform. Students that are allowed to dress down should be sure to follow Dress Down Rules. 1. No crocs or open toed shoes. 2. No pants with holes unless tights are worn underneath. 3. No caps or hoods may be worn inside buildings. 4. Everything must fit and be worn appropriately with no vulgar messages or writing. New Gators on the field?? Absolutely!!! First game in the books for our Middle School - All Girls Soccer Team. Not bad for a first time soccer game… we lost 2-0 against Claiborne Christian, but we learned so much!!! We have work to do and knew we did coming into our season!! But we are SUPER EXCITED to get to be a part of these girl's journeys! As coaches, we feel the BEST is YET to COME!! --Coach Coenen and Coach Payne 🐊⚽️

Congratulations to the DCS Cross Country Team for qualifying for the State Meet. Our lone girls competitor, Ariel Garley, placed 4th overall with a time of 21:32. Delhi Charter will not have classes Friday, November 4th due to a Faculty and Staff PD Day. School will resume Monday, November 7th.
