🌟 DCS FFA Officer Team Takes Leadership to the Next Level! 🌟 Our DCS FFA Officer Team recently participated in officer training sessions led by the Louisiana FFA State Officers! These trainings were designed to equip our officers with the skills, tools, and confidence needed to lead and serve throughout the upcoming school year. From team-building exercises, to goal setting, and effective communication strategies, our officers are now better prepared to represent DCS FFA with pride and purpose! We are proud of their dedication, and we are excited to see the amazing things they will accomplish this year! 💙💛

Greetings Gator Family, More reminders about rules as we get closer to the 25-26 school year. No beverages other than water are to be brought on campus anytime during the school day unless its unopened and packed in a lunchbag for lunch. No Sonic drinks, morning coffee, etc. Belts are required as part of the school uniform for students in the 3rd grade and up. Last year we tried using "yellow rope" as an alternative, but it became more of a crutch and a distraction, and we will not be doing that going forward. To avoid consequences for being out of dress code, good advice would be to buy an extra or alternate belt to keep in your student's backpack in case they forget or misplace the 1st one. Thanks to everyone that registered on time for the Sharp Skills Basketball Camp that begins Monday morning. This message is to inform campers and parents that we will have the camp in the Big Gym instead of the Elementary Gym. Please drop off campers in the back parking lot at the Bus Ramp. Camp ends daily at 12. Please be on time to pick up Campers. Thanks.

Greetings Swamp Family! Hopefully everyone is enjoying the Summer Break... This is another Friendly Rules Reminder as the summer progresses. HAIR COLOR and PIERCINGS 1. Students are not allowed to wear nose rings at school. If you are planning to get a nose piercing over the summer, do it soon enough that it heals and the jewelry can be removed in time for the beginning of school. Boys are also not allowed to wear earrings at school, so this same advice applies. 2. Students are only allowed to wear Natural Hair Colors at school. Enjoy all the colors in the rainbow during the summer, but please plan to have it out by the first day of school.
